Deep-Sky Spectroscopy Constrains the Star-Formation History of a Dwarf Galaxy

Abstract
The assembly of low-mass galaxies encodes the physics of feedback and reionisation. We obtained deep optical spectroscopy of a nearby dwarf galaxy, decomposing its stellar populations across cosmic time.
The data favour an extended, bursty star-formation history with two dominant episodes, consistent with stochastic gas accretion rather than a single early collapse.
