Plagiarism Policy

The journal has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All submissions are screened with similarity-detection software and assessed editorially before and during peer review.

Plagiarism includes presenting another’s work, ideas, or words as one’s own without adequate attribution, as well as redundant (self-) publication of one’s own previously published work without disclosure. Authors must cite all sources and obtain permission for reuse of copyrighted material.

Where plagiarism is identified, the manuscript will be rejected or, if already published, addressed through correction or retraction in accordance with COPE guidance, and the authors’ institutions may be notified.
